Day One of Vaca! :)

So today we left for our vacation at Myrtle Beach! :)

I went to sleep at like 1am and the next thing i remember is Dad coming in at 5am and telling me to wake up….not a good idea…..haha so the plan was to get on the road at 6am..good one! We got on the road at about 6:45. Dad drove for about an hour, mom drove for 30 minutes, then I drove for 2 hours! It was super rainy out, but that’s the best kind of weather to drive in, in my opinion. I think it’s relaxing! :) We got there at 12:30!

So we made a pit stop to see Dad’s side of the family. I haven’t seen these people in like a year and a half! The kids are so grown up!!! I met one of my cousins for the first time! Abby, she’s adorable! :) We went to the mall and got pictures done of the grandkids! It was a little stressful trying to get all of us to smile at the same time, but the pictures turned out sooooooo nice! It was really good to see everyone again! :)

Grandma threw a birthday party for Becca and Dad. It’s rare that we’re all together so close to the birthdays! Dad will be 45 on August 27th (soo old! haha) and Becca will be 16 on August 26th. We had cake and Ice Cream! :) Fun stuff. We came back to the hotel and went swimming!!! :) Productive day! :)

Tomorrow we head off to Myrtle Beach. So excited! :) :) :)
