Towson! :)

So..I'm here. I'm officially a Towson Tiger. Move in day was yesterday. Most stressful and hot day of my life so far. :) But for good reasons. I have 5 roommates and I'm in an old rec hall which has it's benefits and it's downfalls. My room is air conditioned, it may not seem like a big deal, but the rest of the rooms in my building aren't air conditioned! :( Crazy! So I'm happy for that. I'm also happy to have 5 roommates instead of just 1 that way I always have someone around. It's pretty nice. Orientation is happening for the next few days. We had a residence floor meeting last night. Our RA Zakiya is awesome. She's so sweet and you can talk to her about anything! :) The girls on the first floor and the 6 of us in the basement are all freshmen, so we all at least have one thing in common! Everyone seems pretty nice, it's just weird living in a room with 5 people I have never met before! We had orientation today and played a bunch of ice breakers. Not my favorite thing, but it helps to meet some new people! After that we had a free picnic! And we went to the Towson center which is like the basketball arena..and like 1000 miles away from my dorm! :( haha not really, but it's a nice walk.

This afternoon I got to hang out with Melinda! :) good thing she's here, I may have gone home today otherwise! :) We had a good time today. Nice to hang out with someone who appreciates me for me. We went to the inner harbor and I saw REAL crabs swimming in the ocean!!!! And a bunch of fish, and we think there was a jellyfish!!! So crazy, I thought you had to go to the aquarium to see stuff like that! It was awesome! :)

So I'm all settled in. I'm looking forward to see how God will open the doors here at Towson. I'm hoping to meet some people I can get close with soon! Please keep me in your prayers!!!
