John 15:5

Remain in me and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

Last Day

So yesterday was my last Sunday in Frederick! Good and bad things about that! But anyway..I had a really good Sunday! The Holy Spirit was powerful and the worship was awesome. Funny story...in Sunday school (I cheated and went to the teen class with G) the teacher asked G what his goals were...his answer was..."well...I want to be a baseball player, I want ALL of my favorite food, and I want to get married!" Haha..good to see his priorities are in check!

Yesterday evening we planned on going to the lake with the family, but when we got there the Park was full! The wait was an hour and a half, so we made a plan B...going to the city park! It was such a georgous day yesterday!!! Lots of talking and tanning going on! The boys even went fishing and looking for crawdads! Nasty! We went swimming in the city pool for about 20 minutes, then the lifeguards made us all get out because someone threw up in the pool! Swimming was just not happening for us yesterday! :) We did drive to the lake after and got to see it at sunset! So pretty! We saw the most perfect sandcastle ever!
I realized how much I hang out with my sister and cousin when we're with the fam! They really are the life of the party...with my family anyway! By the way! Becca got back from TYI this morning. She had a great time and learned so much about God and about herself throughout the week! I'm really glad she's home! Enjoy the pictures from yesterday!!

P.S. The countdown begins! 12 days until I move to school! :)

  2. Hey Wendy! Your daughter is great! She always had a happy spirit and was willing to learn! She grew in Christ this summer, maybe that's the difference you're seeing! It was great to see all of the girls grow super tight with each other, with the staff, but most importantly with Christ! :) Thanks for your prayers!
